My career got its start in the US Navy's Nuclear Power Program as an Engineering Laboratory Technician aboard USS Enterprise, then USS Proteus. Nuclear work brands you with something permanent: attention to detail isn't a preference, it's the baseline. You follow the procedure exactly, document everything, and understand why each step exists before you execute it.
I carried that discipline through my life working in power generation, aerospace manufacturing, and eventually into a career in Enterprise IT as a Linux systems engineer and AI Solutions Architect building the infrastructure that keeps the internet running. Web design is where all of it converges — having worked inside demanding industries means I understand the pressures you face and what's at stake when your site represents your business.

Renia Cook
Creative Director
Renia Cook is the creative heart of Luker Studio. As Creative Director, she shapes the look, the feel, the photography, and the little details that turn a website from something you just use into something that feels like it was made for you. She has a real gift for noticing what makes people feel welcomed and understood.
With a Communications degree from Brewton Parker College and a background in marketing and communications, she brings a practical eye for how messages land and how brands actually connect with real people. That experience shows up in the way she approaches every project — making sure the visuals and the voice work together to tell the story the right way.
When she’s not behind the camera or fine-tuning a layout, you’ll find her serving on the boards of organizations that matter to her — Widows Oil Ministry (the one we’re grateful to work with), Made to be Well, Leadership Dublin-Laurens County, and RISEUP. She lives in Dublin, Georgia, still gets excited about the Market on Madison on Saturday mornings, shops local whenever she can, and enjoys a good game of Mahjong.
